A plain white tee is that basic piece that every woman owns. It is the most essential piece in your wardrobe. The plain white tee is the most versatile piece clothing in your closet and you can wear it in many different ways. I’ve had this one for a few years now and it doesn’t seem to get old and the quality is still fabulous!

Self-Care: 12 Tips To Feeling Inspired

(Via Popsugar)

Some days you wake up and right when you are going to begin your work, something stops you from doing so. Suddenly, that feeling where you once were so passionate and energized just isn’t there anymore. You don’t want to work today and you don’t feel motivated to do anything. Without this motivation, you feel a little hopeless, lost, and stuck.

Sometimes I get stuck in a rut, especially when it comes to this blog. Some days I’m just not a hundred percent passionate about it which makes it hard to want to work on it, generate new posts or feeling inspired. That’s when I have to take a step back and reset my mindset and sometimes that does involve taking a break. I’ve also found that I can work hard at feeling inspired when there’s no motivation.

I found this infographic for ways to continue feeling inspired when you’ve lost motivation and I thought you all might need it too!

My Favorite Workout Gear

The activewear market has exploded in the past few years with countless new workout gear and athleisure brands — not to mention that just about every fashion retailer has added or expanded its activewear selection. There’s a lot to go through when it comes to sports bras, running tights, and yoga tank tops.  Below are my favorite places to shop for workout gear.

Old Navy is your best bet for affordable and stylist pieces. I always go there first to find what I’m looking for. The prices can’t be beaten and I’ve never had a problem with the quality. Gap fits in this category too. They include a wide range of workout gear sizes and dedicated active sections for plus, petite, and tall girls, which means those leggings will actually be the right length and fit. I buy talls in all of them.

Nordstrom is where I go for name-brands, like Nike and Under Armour . They have so many options plus, their free shipping/returns policy can’t be beaten! The brand, Zella has my favorite leggings. I can wear them outside of working out too!

Lululemon is where a lot of women go to splurge on workout gear. I check their sale section pretty frequently.

Carbon 38 is more of a boutique-type of online store so more along the lines of Lululemon pricing but the selection is expertly curated. They have mesh bras, moto leggings, and trendy tops.

Celebrity brands Calia by Carrie Underwood and Fabletics by Kate Hudson are also two of my favorites. Calia has great sports bras and swimsuits and Fabletics has great deals on leggings.
