New Coral Court
Those of you that have followed the blog when it was on Blogger will probably see some of the most prominent changes I made. I have been switching between many banners because I was never happy with them. I wanted one that was truly original and I have found it. I asked my cousin, Rachel, who is a graphic designer if she would make me a new one. I was blown away with the talent that she has and how without really any instruction, she captured exactly what I wanted. We then narrowed it down, tweaked the colors a little and decided on my current one. I absolutely love it!
The color schemes are a bit different too. I decided to go with basically all black, with a little gray, and an accent color of coral.I think this layout and color scheme gives it a cleaner look.
I added new social sharing buttons to the bottom of my posts with the last button being where you can click to read or leave a comments. There is also a comment box after each post so that you do not have to open the post up to leave one.
- The blog subscribe button moved from a sidebar drop-down menu to its own page with different ways to stay connected to the blog.
- I added a “latest post” box to the side so that you could get access to them there and the top three featured images at the top of the page are from the last three posts.
- The social media buttons are in the top bar, as well as the search button.
- Some of my most recent instagram posts are displayed in the sidebar.
I hope you all like the changes that I made to it. Check back tomorrow for another way this blog is getting a makeover!
