My Makeup Musts

My Makeup Musts

I have received emails about my makeup routine and I have done a similar post before but thought I would update it. On a daily basis, I wear very minimal makeup. I will just put on lotion, some powder, and keep a neutral eye. When I wear more makeup, these are the products that I use. I have to use the most product on my eyes due to horrible dark circles and the Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer Kit is the best product that I have found to cover them up! If you have tried others-please let me know:) I decided not to put mascara on the list because I use so many different kinds. I am not picky about it so I usually just grab one and go. My never live without product is the Blistix chap stick. I use it multiple times a day and I also put it on my cuticles, cuts, and dry patches of skin. It is a must have!
What are your must haves? I’m always looking for new products to try!

I feel that way some days too but in Illinois it’s a bit more acceptable:)

Love this!! Is the bobbi brown foundation really heavy? I have been looking for a new one but do not like it if it looks caked on!

This one is the lightest coverage but they do have ones that are heavier!

My recent addiction is Buxom’s full-on lip gloss and MicaBeauty’s tinted lip balm. Wearing lip color regularly is a new thing for me within the last year or so…so I enjoy playing around with different brands and colors to find my faves.

I have to ask since you mentioned it and I’m a total mascara junkie…what is your favorite one?

I haven’t tried those yet but I will! I love tinted lip balms over lipstick! As far as mascara, I think my favorite is Benefit’s “they’re real” mascara!

Me too – so much less sticky thank lipsticks.

I have some sample tube of a Benefit mascara I snagged at Ulta recently. I’ll have to see if it’s that one! Thanks. 🙂

I’ve never tried the Bobbi Brown Concealer before but I might give it a shot now! The best thing I’ve found for my under-eye area is to use a combo of the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (the brightening shade) and I have to set it with the Bare Minerals Well Rested powder, otherwise I will get creases (no matter what I use, it’s just my eye shape). The Well Rested powder is seriously a holy grail product for me. It’s different than other powders and doesn’t settle into lines. If they ever stop selling it I’m going to cry.. =)

The Bobbi Brown corrector is my absolute FAVORITE!!! Love it sooo much! I’m obsessed with so many of the products you listed, guess I’ll be trying the ones I don’t already use that you love. Thanks for the recommendations!
