Olay 4-in-1 Daily Facials |Best Cleansing Cloth and Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin

So I’d like to go out on a limb and say I live a pretty minimalist life. I try to get away with wearing the least amount of makeup possible and I try to cut corners when it comes to buying multiple beauty products. I’m the girl that uses my bronzer as my eye shadow and won’t fuss with lipstick because I hate having to always reapply it. The same can be true for my beauty routine when it comes to how I take my makeup off and wash my face. Taking care of my skin now while I’m still young is so important to me, but I have the hardest time finding products that work well with my sensitive skin. Insert Olay Daily Facials 4-in-1 Water Activated Cleansing Cloths here! This product is perfect for women who want great looking skin but are SUPER busy. I have been using this product recently and it has been such a time saver to not have to use multiple products to remove my makeup and clean my skin. These convenient face wipes have the “cleansing power” of a scrub, toner, mask and cleanser all in one. Plus, since I’m a big fan of the “no-makeup” trend, Daily Facials helps me with “step 1” of getting the look because it makes my skin look so good that I don’t even need to put makeup on.

To use this product, you wet the cloth with water and lather it onto your skin. I wet the cloth and then either rub the cloth together or I put it directly onto my skin to create a lather. It lathers so easily! I like that I can have some control with the wet cloths around my eyes so I’m not splashing a bunch of water on them causing them to become irritated. The texture of the cloth then allows for a gentle exfoliation that gives your face a smooth texture in less than one week. It also contains gentle ingredients that condition skin while removing make-up. After rinsing this product off my face, my skin felt clean and super hydrated. I hate that feeling when my face feels tight from face washes.

5 Hair Products I can’t live without

Wet Brush– A friend first put me on to these brushes about 2 years ago and it’s all I’ve been using since.I have long (down to about the top of my lower back), thick, wavy hair and it is a pain to comb. It is effective in detangling both wet and dry hair. I wish I had this brush when I was younger! I also love the  Tangle Teaser for dry hair. The bristles aren’t as soft so it really gets all the hair that is underneath. If you haven’t had luck with the wet brush, then try the tangle teaser!

Unite  7 Second Detangler– This stuff is the best! It’s lightweight and never greasy, with protein for stronger hair. In fact, it’s different from applying oil or any other leave-in conditioner because as soon as you apply it, it soaks in, instead of covering strands. It works without adding build-up or a heavy feeling. All I do is towel dry my hair (which usually leaves it in a wavy state filled with tangles and knots), spritz it with the 7Seconds conditioner, and wait just seven seconds. Then, I comb through my hair with my wet brush or tangle teaser. I usually let my hair air-dry but people have said that it makes blow-drying faster too.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product– I’ve mentioned this spray before. It is similar to the Unite 7 Second detangler. My hair stylist told me that I needed this product after I had colored my hair too much in a short period of time.  It delivers ten benefits: repairs, adds shine, tames frizz, protects color, detangles, prevents split ends, curbs breakage, softens, boosts body, and protects hair from heat. I think it has a strong floral scent so if you are someone that is sensitive to smells, I would recommend Unite 7 over this.

Davines OI Oil– I’m going to be honest, this oil is super pricey.  I was finding that Moroccan oil was not working for my hair anymore and was leaving it super weighed down. I was recommended this product and so far I love it. It is light weight enough so that it doesn’t weigh your hair down/make it look greasy, and it smells lovely. It strengthens your mane over time and it comes packed with antioxidant-rich roucou oil that helps prevent hair aging and breakage.

Moroccan Sea Salt Spray– I use this a ton in the summer because I hate using heat on my hair. I spray this all over my damp hair and then scrunch it. Some people then blow dry with a diffuser but I just let mine air dry. It gives your hair that beachy look and for only $8.

My Top 5 Mascaras

Pixi By Petra Lengthy Fiber Mascara

I really like this mascara. It is more of a “lengthening” formula than it is a “volumizing” formula, and more of a “natural” look than a “high drama” look.Application is smooth and even and it does not clump.. Often I find myself going with just one coat, but two looks very nice on those days when I want want my lashes to look a bit darker or thicker. For a drugstore mascara, it is a hidden gem!

Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Big Shot

This mascara works great when it comes to making your lashes more defined and creating a glamorous look. However, if you haven’t curled your lashes prior to use or if you don’t have naturally curly lashes, you won’t get amazing results with this product. I do feel that whether this mascara will look natural or not depends on how much of the product is applied to your lashes. This product builds up very easily and if you want to have significantly bolder lashes, you can achieve that after a few coats of the product. If you want something more natural, using it once or twice might provide lighter results that are more suitable for every day use.

Icona Milano Mascara

This mascara is the absolute best waterproof mascara I’ve ever tried! This is a perfect formula for me. It doesn’t clump or irritate my sensitive eyes. It really extends my lashes amd gives great separation; even in the inner/outer corners.Unfortunately, I received this in a Glossybox and have no idea where to get it anymore.

Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara

I was hesitant to try this mascara because I’ve tried almost every all-natural mascara on the market and have not been 100% happy with any of them. But this one is different. It’s the only natural non-waterproof mascara that has kept my lashes completely curled all day long and does not flake or smear and is very black which I love. The only problem I have with it is that it goes on quite thick and can clump and get messy. I have learned to be really careful and use a lash comb to separate the clumps.I’ve heard that this mascara is amazing for people with small lashes. The brush is small and easy to coat short lashes with.

It Cosmetics Superhero(My Favorite right now)

This mascara is fabulous! The brush delivers the perfect amount of product, not too little and not too much, even at the beginning. It does seem to lengthen and do a bit of thickening, nothing out of this world honestly but the reason for 5 stars is that i have put it through the test- all day wear INCLUDING serious sweat sessions at the gym and it stayed put! No smearing, no flaking! It’s also water resistant, so it is easier to remove at the end of the day and I don’t wake up with leftover product underneath my eyes in the morning.

IT Cosmetics Friends & Family Event

It is no surprise that I am obsessed with everything It Cosmetics comes out with. If I could only use one beauty brand for the rest of my life, I would pick IT. It is the only brand that I have found where every product has worked on my sensitive skin and they have the only under-eye concealer that has actually concealed my eyes. If you haven’t tried out the brand, now is definitely the time with their friends and family event. The sale will be a combination of palettes, sets, and individual face products, in a variety of shades, formulas, and categories.

Use the code Friends2017 to take advantage of the sale from the 23rd to the 28th. You will get 25% off orders over $30.

I have probably tried every product they have but I have highlighted the top 5 that I’ve used to get you started. As a side note, I am not getting any commission and have not been paid to write this post, I just truly love all of their products.

Bye Bye Undereye– This is my ride or die undereye concealer. It is a thick formula that is very full coverage. If you don’t suffer from bad undereyes than I wouldn’t recommend this just because you can definitely get away with something that isn’t as thick and has less coverage but if you do, you have to try this. I switch between the light and medium shades depending on the season. I use my fingers to blend and then apply a translucent powder over it.

Confidence in an Eye Cream and and Face Cream– I use both the eye cream and face cream in the morning and then at night.  It doesn’t have any fragrance so you don’t have to risk getting a headache from the smell.

Confidence in a Compact– This is fairly new but I have been loving it. I will be ordering this during the sale because I am almost out of it. I use this brush to apply it but it also has a sponge included. It has a very natural look to it and does not sit onto of your skin.

Superhero Mascara– If you are in the market for a new mascara, give this one a try. This mascara definitely plumps, lengthens my lashes and goes on smoothly.

Je Ne Sais Quoi Palette–  The formula is so much better than other powders. I honestly cannot recommend this enough.  Normally highlighters are too much on me but this one is absolutely perfect and the best color. The blush and bronzer are perfect for most skin tones. It also has a translucent powder that you can use with the undereye concealer.

Having good quality brushes, not only allows your makeup application to be 100x better but it does save you money on having to re-buy cheaper brushes. I’ve had a lot of the these brushes for years.   Here is a list of my current favorite makeup brushes that I can’t live without. I didn’t include the beauty blender because that’s technically not a brush but if you do not already have that, it is one of the best ways to apply makeup too. Most of the brushes that I’ve listed are really affordable. The ones that I’ve splurged on are totally worth it though, especially the concealer and foundation brushes.

Foundation brushes:

IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin Brush #704- I use this brush with the Confidence in a Compact and it applies evenly and makes cream makeup easy to use.

Bobbi Brown Foundation Brush– If i’m not using my beauty blender for foundation, then I use this brush. Its so easy to use, blends the foundation so easy you don’t even have to really think about what your doing, it’s that easy.  I like applying foundation with this brush and then blending out with a beauty blender.

Avon Pro Concealer Brush– This brush is only $7 and has lasted me years. I use is for blemishes and sometimes ever for eye shadow application.

Sonia Kashuk Concealer brush #110– This one is also super cheat at $6 and I wash it after every use with warm water and soap and the bristles are still soft!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Brush– The one that I use from UD came in the Naked palette years ago but I’ve linked a similar one. These brushes last for a very long time if you take care of them. These synthetic brushes also don’t hold on to gross bacteria  so it’s easier to clean and more hygienic.

IT Cosmetics Eye Shadow Brush– This eyeshadow brush came in the “All that Glitters Brush Set.” If you ever want to buy a brush set, It Cosmetics makes the best ones. This brush is perfect for applying a base color.

Under Eye Concealer:

Morphe E8- Detail Contour-As you all know by now, my under eye circles are terrible. This brush works so well with the Bye Bye under eye concealer. It helps fill out those hollow areas under my eyes and doesn’t absorb the concealer.  Plus it’s only $6! Depending on the day, I will go over my under eyes again with a more liquid concealer using my beauty blender.

ELF angled Blush Brush– This one is also super cheat at $4 and I’ve had it for years. The shape is great and it blends beautifully.

Powder Brush

It Cosmetics Brilliant Powder Brush: This one also came in the set with the eyeshadow brush. It is so soft, round, and tapered so it is perfect for applying powder.

Bronzer Brush:

BareMinerals Flawless Application Face Brush– I’ve had this brush for over 10 years now and it serves so many purposes. Right now, I use it for bronzer but I know people that use it for blush and powder too.

Anything Brushes:

Bare Minerals Handy Buki Brush– You can use this brush for powder foundation, blush, and bronzer. It is a great all around brush that serves many purposes!

Tweezerman Pointed Foundation Brush– This provides great coverage for creams, liquids, and primers. It is great for heard to reach areas areas around eyes, nose, mouth—and tricky spots like the hairline. I use it a lot to wipe off the translucent powder that I apply under my eyes
